Entertainer’s Basement with Custom Pub & Media Lounge

This lower level was reimagined as a hospitality-grade hangout that flows from a custom pub to a cozy media lounge and game nook. Anchoring the space is a L-shaped bar with seating for up to seven, wrapped in raised-panel millwork finished in a deep graphite. Durable, dark solid-surface tops, a drink rail, and a stainless workstation sink create a true working bar. Behind the counter, stacked-stone cladding, floating glass shelves, stemware racks, and a wall-mounted TV form a dramatic back bar. Integrated accent lighting, dimmable sconces, and back-lit display panels complete the pub atmosphere.

Beyond the bar, matching built-ins provide a buffet/serving station and long, low storage that ties the room together under the windows. The lounge centers on a custom media wall with concealed wiring and an electric fireplace set in paneled millwork—perfect for game days and movie nights. A dedicated game corner features a dartboard cabinet over a cork backer and a pub-height table.

Throughout the basement, new crown, chair rail, and raised wainscoting deliver crisp architectural detail. Wide-plank flooring, coordinated matte-black hardware, and layered lighting create a warm, durable finish that’s made for entertaining.
